Laughter and Inspiration with Renita Wickes
Wednesday May 29, 2019
Wednesday May 29, 2019
Renita is an Army veteran having served eight years on active duty and another 25 on the civilian side. She joined the Army in rebellion to her dad who thought she wouldn’t make it two weeks.
She has experienced the ups and downs of life, like all of us, a divorce, lost a fiancé in the war, lost her parents to cancer but she has two beautiful children and a granddaughter and met her current husband on e-Harmony! She has an infectious, joyous spirit and brings laughter wherever she goes.
After her fiancé was killed, her perspective changed in such a way she asked herself, “What should I be doing in life and am I happy, if not, why am I doing it?” Renita also learned a valuable lesson from her fiancé, we don’t have to stay friends with people who are toxic just because we’ve been friends with them for years. So after his death, she cleaned house.
Her regret is she wishes she spent more time going home and spending time with her parents. Renita lives life and doesn’t wait for anything. Life is about enjoying the moments you get. Listen to Renita’s story and feel the laughter and inspiration she gives.

Limiting Beliefs: Why They Are Important
Wednesday May 22, 2019
Wednesday May 22, 2019
In today's episode I talk about limiting beliefs, why they are important to recognize and give tips on releasing them.
We have negative or limiting beliefs buried deep within our subconscious. How does one develop limiting beliefs? There are four ways:
- On a Core Level: Beliefs, positive or negative, can be learned in our childhood years through adulthood from our parents, siblings, other family members and friends.
- On a Genetic Level: Beliefs can be carried with us from generation to generation through our genetics.
- On a History Level: We can carry beliefs into this lifetime from past lives.
- On a Soul Level: Our soul, our essence, has beliefs.
By identifying and healing limiting beliefs, we open ourselves up to living our lives, not only to the fullest, but more importantly, true to ourselves. By healing our limiting beliefs, we can also heal physical manifestations and dis-ease within the body.
Limiting beliefs are powerful!

What are we giving to the world? with Chris West
Wednesday May 15, 2019
Wednesday May 15, 2019
Chris was married and had a child before he could legally drink. His value system was based on chasing the materialistic dream and women who looked good on his arm. Until he lost everything.
Our conversation takes many turns and Chris shares a story of how our emotions create dis-ease in the body. Which I’m a firm believer of. Side note: He does not know I believe this, he mentioned this on his own when talking about how our thoughts create our reality. Which again, could not be more true.
Easily admitting he carries a heavy burden of guilt, remorse and shame from his past, Chris also believes you cannot look back and you can drop the weight of those burdens anytime as long as you move forward, learning from the past.
Chris would like for us to ask ourselves, "What are we giving to the world?" All of us have something to give. Chris is candid about the lowest points in his life and how he's making a considerably more selfless and mindful transition to a new life. Listen to learn how he is turning his life around.
